back to school

This fall, I'll begin the Population and Health Sciences Master of Public Health program at the University of Michigan.

People have asked if this means I'm changing careers - it does not. If anything, it feels like the natural next step in the work I've been doing for years.

As ALL ETHOS evolves into Neighbor, I want to deepen not only how I think about strategy, but how I help organizations create lasting impact. Going back to school is about strengthening the connection between data and storytelling, evidence and strategy, and better understanding the population-level factors that shape healthier communities.

Neighbor is an evolution of my work and my belief that the best strategies combine analytical rigor with genuine proximity. We don't just help organizations plan for the future, we stay close enough to understand the people, places, and challenges that make every community unique. Because strategy without proximity is just theory.

I'm excited to bring what I learn back to the organizations and communities that have trusted me, helping turn evidence, foresight, and local knowledge into strategies that strengthen the places we all call home.

For me, this isn't a new direction - it is the next chapter of a journey that's been unfolding all along.
